Why turnovers got their own app
Most service work starts with a customer asking for something. Turnover cleaning starts with a guest checking out. The schedule lives in the host's booking calendar, and it changes every time a guest books, extends or cancels. Clean for a few hosts and a real part of your week goes to copying dates out of their calendars and catching the one that moved.
You can keep turnovers in any scheduling app, but somebody still has to type them in and keep them current. Turnovers reads the calendar for you. It runs on EosLog, so your quotes and billing stay where they are, and the phone app is built around one question: which units turn over today, and what does the crew need to get in and get it done?
How it works
- Add a rental and text your host. The app writes a text with a link, and it goes from your own phone. Already have the calendar link? Paste it yourself.
- Your host connects the calendar. They tap the link and paste their Airbnb or Vrbo calendar link. No account and nothing to install. While they're there they can add the door code and Wi-Fi for your crew.
- Checkouts become turnovers. Each new booking shows up for you to confirm with one tap. If you'd rather not confirm each one, turn on auto-confirm for that rental.
Calendars are checked every 30 minutes, and Refresh now pulls one right away when a host tells you something changed. When a booking moves or is cancelled, its turnover moves with it. Same-day turnovers are flagged with the next guest's check-in time, so you know which unit has to go first. You get a notification for new bookings and cancellations, and a time-sensitive one for same-day turnovers.
On the day of the turnover
Each turnover has a checklist by room, with the photos you ask for on each task. It keeps working without signal. Check things off in a basement unit or a cabin at the end of a dirt road, and it all sends when the phone is back online.
Door codes and Wi-Fi show up for your crew on the day of the turnover. They aren't sitting in a group text for anyone to scroll back to, and the copy saved on the phone is removed once the turnover window ends or the person signs out.
When something is wrong in the unit
Broken lamp, wine on the rug, out of toilet paper, a phone charger left in the wall. Tap Found something? Report it on the checklist, add photos, and let the host know right away. Reports from crew go to the owner first, so nothing reaches a host until you've seen it.
Speed matters here. Hosts have their own deadlines for damage claims, and a report with photos taken during the clean is the proof they need. Our guide to your first 30 days running Airbnb turnovers covers the claim timing and the photo standard hosts expect.
What your host gets
When you finish, the host gets a photo report of the turnover with your invoice attached. On every plan it goes by email. On Crew and Shop it can also go by text from EosLog, and on Free and Solo the app opens a text from your own phone instead.
Hosts never pay EosLog and never install anything. To them it looks like a cleaner who sends proof without being asked.
Your crew sees the work, not the money
Owners and managers see every turnover with its price and invoice. Crew see only the turnovers assigned to them, without prices and without the host's phone, email or address. Add crew on eoslog.com and they sign in to the same app.
It's your EosLog account
Turnovers isn't a separate product with a separate login. It's the same login and the same data as the EosLog app and eoslog.com. A turnover made on your phone shows up in EosLog on the web, and the rental's host is a client like any other. If you also do deep cleans or move-outs for regular customers, those stay in EosLog where they already are.
What it costs
The app is free to download, with no in-app purchases. The free plan includes 1 synced rental and 15 jobs a month, turnovers included. Solo syncs up to 5 rentals, and Crew and Shop sync as many as you have. Plans are managed on eoslog.com; see pricing for the current numbers.
If you hit a limit, new bookings still come in as drafts marked Over plan limit, and nothing you already confirmed changes.
Example: you clean three rentals for two hosts. On the free plan one of those calendars syncs, and Solo syncs all three. Either way the hosts pay nothing.
Common questions
Which calendars work?
Airbnb and Vrbo calendar links, and other iCal calendar links. Booking.com calendars can't be synced.
Do my hosts need an account?
No. Hosts connect their calendar from the link you send and get the photo report by email, or by text on Crew and Shop. They never install anything or pay EosLog.
I already use EosLog. Do I need a new account?
No. Sign in to the Turnovers app with the same email and password. It is the same company and the same data.
What happens when I hit a plan limit?
New bookings still arrive, as drafts marked Over plan limit, and nothing you already confirmed changes. You can upgrade on eoslog.com at any time.
Put your next checkout on the schedule
Download EosLog Turnovers, add one rental and text your host the link. It takes a few minutes, and the next booking lands on your schedule by itself.
