Is the free plan really free?
Yes. No card up front, no auto-conversion, no time limit. We take 1% only on payments collected through Stripe inside EosLog. Cash, check, or off-platform payments cost nothing.
What happens when I hit a free-tier cap?
You'll see a banner inside the app letting you know. Existing data stays accessible, we don't lock you out. You can upgrade to a paid tier (starting at $24/mo) or wait for the cap to roll over next month.
Can my customers pay online?
Yes. Connect a Stripe account in two clicks and every invoice you send includes a "Pay now" link. Customers can pay by card from their phone in about 30 seconds. Money lands in your bank in 2 business days.
Do I need to install anything?
No. EosLog runs in any browser, on any device. There's also a mobile app for iOS and Android if you want push notifications and the at-the-job-site flow.
Can I switch from paper or another tool?
Yes. If you have a customer list in a spreadsheet, paste it in during signup and we'll set you up. If you're moving from another FSM tool, we can usually import in 15 minutes. Email support@eoslog.com and we'll walk through it.
Is my data secure?
We use industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit, regular off-site backups, and Stripe (a publicly traded payments company) for all card handling. We never see your customers' card numbers.
