The short answer
Stay on Jobber if it runs your week and you use what your plan includes. We think it's a good product for a lot of teams, and its app marketplace and its QuickBooks and Xero sync are real reasons to stay.
Look elsewhere if the plan you need costs more than your work justifies. For one person, ServiceM8 and EosLog have free plans and QuoteIQ starts at $29.99 a month, against $49 for Jobber Core. For a crew of two to five, Jobber's team view starts at $199 with 5 users included, and its plan cards list added users at $29 each. Kickserv starts at $75 for 5 users, and EosLog Crew with five people is $109. A company that only does home cleaning should also look at ZenMaid.
Jobber and 6 alternatives, side by side
Monthly prices with no annual commitment, in US dollars. Most of these are cheaper billed yearly, and each section below says by how much where the page lists it. "5 users" means the cheapest plan for five people, counting included users and extra-user prices the vendor publishes. Each tool's sources are listed at the bottom with the date we read them.

What Jobber costs today
So you have something to compare against. Jobber prices by plan and by team size.
Jobber
Best for: Teams that use what their plan includes, like the app marketplace, automations, two-way texting on Grow, or QuickBooks and Xero sync.
What it costs
- One user: Core $49, Connect $139, Grow $199 a month.
- Two to five people: Connect $199, Grow $299, Plus $499 a month, each with 5 users included.
- Each plan card says "Add users for $29/mo each".
- Annual billing is cheaper: Core is $29 a month billed annually.
What stands out for a small team
- Online booking and the client hub are on every plan, Core included.
- Core lists "Connect 100+ tools through the app marketplace".
- QuickBooks Online and Xero sync start at Connect. Two-way texting and custom workflow automations are on Grow.
The 6 alternatives
EosLog first, since it's ours. The rest are in no particular order.
EosLog Ours
Best for: One person or a crew of up to about ten in cleaning, landscaping, pressure washing or another trade who wants to start on a free plan and add people at $15 each instead of jumping to a bigger plan.
What it costs
- Free: 1 user, 20 clients, and 15 jobs, 15 invoices and 20 quotes a month. Customer documents carry an EosLog watermark, and online card payments carry a 1% EosLog fee.
- Solo $39 a month: 1 user, adds recurring jobs and time tracking. Extra users $15 each.
- Crew $79 a month: 3 users, adds the client portal, forms and checklists, reports and texting (100 text segments a month). Extra users $15 each.
- Shop $149 a month: 10 users, adds QuickBooks sync, workflow automation, custom fields and team roles. Extra users $12 each.
- Annual billing saves 20%: Solo $31, Crew $63, Shop $119 a month.
What stands out for a small team
- The free plan has no time limit and covers quotes, scheduling, invoicing and online payments for one person.
- Every plan includes a public request form you can link from your website, ads or a QR code, plus the iPhone and Android apps.
- Every plan includes a connector for AI assistants that support MCP. It can read your day, create and assign jobs, list unpaid invoices and send an invoice.
Watch out for
- QuickBooks sync is only on Shop ($149).
- No Zapier connection, no public API and no Google Calendar sync yet.
Housecall Pro
Best for: A crew of up to five, or a shop of up to eight, that wants one plan with QuickBooks Online sync and job costing, and doesn't mind a higher first plan than some tools here.
What it costs
- Basic $79 a month (1 user), Essentials $189 (5 users), Max $329 (8 users, then $35 a month per extra user).
- Annual billing is cheaper: Basic $59, Essentials $149, Max $299 a month.
What stands out for a small team
- Online booking is on Basic. Job costing is listed on Basic too.
- Every plan lists the iPhone and Android app, in English and Spanish.
Watch out for
- QuickBooks Online sync is listed from Essentials, so a one-person shop that wants it pays $189 a month.
- Prices show after you pick your industry and team size on the pricing page.
ServiceM8
Best for: A team of any size that does a steady, predictable number of jobs a month, since the price follows job count, not users.
What it costs
- Free (1 user, 30 jobs a month), Starter $29 (50 jobs), Growing $79 (150 jobs), Premium $149 (500 jobs), Premium Plus $349 (1,500+ jobs). Paid plans have unlimited users.
What stands out for a small team
- No per-user price on paid plans.
- Online booking, card payments and accounting sync (QuickBooks Online, Xero, MYOB) are in every plan.
Watch out for
- Every new job card uses a job credit, and a job can start as a quote. If each visit is its own job card, 40 weekly visits come to about 173 a month, past Growing's 150 and into Premium at $149.
- Building your own forms needs Growing ($79) or higher.
Kickserv
Best for: A crew of three to five that wants QuickBooks Online on the first plan and a flat price for the whole team.
What it costs
- Start $75 a month (5 users), Run $149 (10 users), Scale $249 (20 users).
- Annual billing saves 20%: Start $60, Run $119, Scale $199 a month.
What stands out for a small team
- QuickBooks Online, time tracking and automated email and text reminders are on Start.
- The plans are priced per team, not per user, up to each plan's user count.
Watch out for
- The smallest plan includes 5 users at $75, so it costs the same for one person as for five.
- QuickBooks Desktop is listed on Run as an extra $50 a month.
QuoteIQ
Best for: A solo operator who wants a low first plan, and a crew of four or more that wants QuickBooks and a client portal on the same plan.
What it costs
- Essentials $29.99 a month (1 user), Beginner $99.99 (2 users), Pro $199.99 (4 users), Elite $299.99 (10 users), Max $699.99 (20 users). Extra users $25 a month each on any plan.
- Yearly billing is listed as "Save 2 months yearly".
What stands out for a small team
- Extra users are $25 a month on any plan, so you can add one person without moving up a plan.
- Pro adds QuickBooks, the client portal and on-the-way texts.
Watch out for
- QuickBooks and the client portal are not on Essentials or Beginner. They start at Pro, $199.99.
- Each plan includes a monthly allowance of IQ Credits (500 on Essentials), which the page lists alongside the price.
ZenMaid
Best for: A residential cleaning company that only does cleaning and wants software built around maid service work.
What it costs
- The price depends on how many cleaners and office managers you enter. With nobody entered: Starter $19, Pro $39, Pro Max $49 a month. With 1: $23, $53 and $73. With 2: $27, $67 and $97. With 5: $39, $109 and $169.
- Plans are month to month.
What stands out for a small team
- Pro and Pro Max have unlimited appointments, checklists, payroll and booking forms for your website.
- Built for cleaning: the plans talk about cleaners, appointments and recurring customers.
Watch out for
- Starter is capped at 40 appointments a month.
- Each plan says "SMS charges not included", and QuickBooks is marked "COMING SOON".
What it costs for your size of business
Three common cases, priced from the same pages. Free plans first, then cheapest first. Taxes and card processing fees are not included.
One person, just starting
You do the work yourself and want quotes, a schedule and invoices.
- ServiceM8: Free for 30 jobs a month, or Starter at $29 for 50.
- EosLog: Free for 20 clients and 15 jobs, 15 invoices and 20 quotes a month, or Solo at $39.
- ZenMaid: Starter at $23 with one person entered, up to 40 appointments a month. Cleaning only.
- QuoteIQ: Essentials at $29.99.
- Jobber: Core at $49.
Two-person cleaning business, about 10 recurring cleans a week
Example: 10 cleans a week is about 43 visits a month, so a 15-job or 40-appointment cap is too small.
- ServiceM8: Starter at $29 covers 50 job cards a month, if each visit is one card.
- EosLog: Solo at $39 plus one extra user at $15 is $54, with recurring jobs.
- ZenMaid: Pro at $67 with two people entered, unlimited appointments.
- Kickserv: Start at $75, which includes 5 users.
- Jobber: Core at $49 plus one added user at $29 is $78. Its 2 to 5 people view starts at Connect, $199 with 5 users.
- QuoteIQ: Beginner at $99.99 for 2 users.
- Housecall Pro: Basic includes 1 user. Essentials is $189 for 5.
Five-person landscaping crew that needs QuickBooks
Example: 60 weekly lawns is about 260 visits a month, and the plan has to include QuickBooks sync.
- Kickserv: Start at $75, QuickBooks Online included.
- ServiceM8: Premium at $149 for 500 job cards a month, if each visit is one card. QuickBooks is on every plan.
- EosLog: Shop at $149 for 10 users, the plan with QuickBooks sync.
- Housecall Pro: Essentials at $189 for 5 users.
- Jobber: Connect at $199 for 5 users.
- QuoteIQ: Pro at $224.99: $199.99 for 4 users plus one at $25.
Where EosLog isn't the best fit yet
We'd rather you pick the right tool than pick us and leave in a month. Here is where EosLog falls short today.
- QuickBooks sync is only on Shop ($149 a month). If you're small and QuickBooks is a must, Kickserv Start ($75 for 5 users) and ServiceM8 (every plan) get you there for less.
- No Zapier and no public API. If you connect a lot of other apps, Jobber's app marketplace is the better fit. What EosLog has is a connector for AI assistants that support MCP, and it covers your day, jobs and invoices only.
- No calendar sync. When you schedule a job, the client's confirmation email has Add to Google Calendar and Outlook links and an .ics file. Your jobs don't sync into your own Google Calendar.
- A request form, not self-booking. Every plan has a public form where a client asks for work, picks a service and adds photos. You set the time. Jobber, Housecall Pro and ServiceM8 list online booking on their first paid plan.
- Texting is on Crew and Shop only, and your business number has to be registered with the phone carriers before the first text goes out, which takes time.
- Limited exports. You can download your client list as a CSV and each quote and invoice as a PDF. There's no one-click export of all your jobs or invoices yet.
- We're a small, new company. There's less of a track record to go on than with tools that have been around longer.
How to switch from Jobber
Plan on an evening for a small client list. Your clients move over in a file. Jobs, schedules and history don't, so set up what's coming up next and keep Jobber until the current billing period ends.
- Export your clients from Jobber. Jobber's help article Export Client Information walks through it. Jobber says client exporting is available on select plans. You get a CSV file, sent as several files above 1,499 clients.
- Create a free EosLog account. No card. The Free plan holds 20 clients, so pick a paid plan first if your list is longer.
- Import the CSV. Go to Clients, then Import (
/web/clients/import), and upload the file. EosLog matches columns such as first name, last name, company, email, phone, street, city, state and ZIP from their headers. The next screen shows the first five rows and a dropdown for every column, so you can match anything it didn't recognize or ignore it. Duplicate emails and names are skipped and listed. - Add your services and prices, then set up recurring jobs for repeat clients (Solo and up). Recurring visits don't come over in the file.
- On Shop with QuickBooks Online, you can also pull your customers and your open unpaid invoices in from QuickBooks.
- Send your next quotes and invoices from EosLog, and cancel Jobber when you're ready. Jobber's pricing FAQ says a no-commitment monthly plan can be cancelled any time and ends at the end of the billing period, while a 1-year commitment keeps billing monthly until the 12 months are up.
Questions people ask
Is there a free alternative to Jobber?
Yes. ServiceM8's free plan is for one user and 30 jobs a month. EosLog's free plan is for one user, 20 clients, and 15 jobs, 15 invoices and 20 quotes a month, with no time limit. Jobber itself offers a 14-day free trial.
Is there a cheaper option than Jobber?
For one person, Jobber Core is $49 a month, against $29 for ServiceM8 Starter, $29.99 for QuoteIQ Essentials and $39 for EosLog Solo. For a crew of five, Jobber Connect is $199 with 5 users included, against $75 for Kickserv Start and $109 for EosLog Crew with two extra users. Jobber also lists added users at $29 a month each. Price the plan you'd actually need, because QuickBooks and the client portal sit on different plans in each tool.
Is Jobber worth it?
It can be, if you use what your plan includes. A one-person business that only quotes, schedules and invoices may not need more than Core at $49, or a free plan somewhere else. A team that leans on Jobber's integrations and automations is paying for things it uses.
What CRM is better than Jobber?
None is better for everybody. Decide what you can't work without, find the cheapest plan that includes it in each tool, and compare those prices. The table above does that for QuickBooks sync.
Can I move my clients from Jobber to another app?
Yes. Jobber says client exporting is available on select plans, as a CSV or vCard file. In EosLog you bring that CSV in under Clients, then Import, on every plan, including Free. The steps are in the switching section above.
Try EosLog on your own work
Quote a real job, put it on the schedule and send the invoice. The Free plan has no time limit.
