Questions
Do I need to install an app?
No. It runs in Safari or Chrome on your phone. The browser asks for permission to use the camera. If you'd rather not allow that, tap Take a photo and use your phone's camera app instead.
Are my scans uploaded?
No. The photos and the PDF stay on your phone. Nothing is sent to EosLog, and the pages are gone when you close the tab.
My phone already scans in its notes app. Why use this?
If that works for you, use it. This page is handy when you want the PDF right away to sign, merge with other files or text to a customer, all in one place.
How do I get a clean scan?
Lay the page flat on a darker surface, like a table or the floor, in even light. Hold the phone straight above it. If the outline misses a corner, tap the page and drag that corner into place.
Can I use it on a computer?
Yes. Upload photos of your pages from your computer, or scan the code on this page to open the scanner on your phone.
