Questions
Is my file uploaded anywhere?
No. The PDF is opened and signed inside your browser. EosLog never receives it, and it is gone when you close the tab.
Is an electronic signature legally binding?
In the US, the federal ESIGN Act (15 U.S.C. 7001) generally gives electronic signatures the same legal weight as ink for most business documents. Some documents are exceptions, like wills and court orders (15 U.S.C. 7003). This isn't legal advice.
Can I fill in form fields too?
Yes. If the PDF has fillable fields, they show up in a list next to the page so you can fill them in. On flat PDFs you can type text anywhere on the page.
Can I sign on my phone?
Yes. Draw your signature with your finger, type it, or upload a photo of it, then tap the page where it goes.
